For over 20 years, the 2400 Fiber Geometry System has been the industry-standard for characterizing optical fiber geometry. Its reliable and repeatable geometry characterization of both single-mode and multimode fibers helped manufacturers improve process control and ultimately the quality of their finished product. The 2400 Fiber Geometry was recently superseded by the 2300 Fiber Analysis System, the industry's first combined spectral loss/fiber geometry test system. The new 2300 offers several design improvements that make fiber geometry measurements both easier and faster than ever before, enabling even lower cost of measurements.
